Founded in 2012, Utopia Goods, designed by Bruce Slorach and Sophie Tatlow, produces unique handcrafted accessories, home furnishings and quality interior fabrics. Each design is illustrated and hand-screen printed on premium linen, to create a collection of textile designs celebrating Australian flora and fauna. Whether they are mixing the old and new, whimsical and wild, they are passionate about designing beautiful limited-edition products.

A kaleidoscopic homage to Australia’s wild, wonderful playground of flora and fauna, Utopia Goods’s award-winning hand-printed textiles and home furnishings combine Slorach’s riotous illustrations with traditional screen-printing techniques to produce a collection of highly covetable, ethically produced designs for the home. Drawing inspiration from the earth, ocean and air, each collectible print binds Slorach’s creative vision with the couples wide-reaching knowledge of the decorative arts and Australia's design legacy - in a colour palette soaked with the eye-popping vibrancy of the Australian outback. Explore Utopia Goods’ textile jungle and discover its exotic botanical delights, from luscious linen upholstery fabrics, to custom-made wallpapers and hand-beaded brooches, velveteen purses and silken scarf squares.

Artist, designer and art director, Bruce Slorach, who works across the multi-disciplinary design industry in Australia, illustrates all the textiles. He has shown his illustrations and textiles internationally and his work is held in the permanent collection of the Powerhouse Museum (Sydney), the National Gallery of Victoria (Melbourne) and he has participated in various independent group shows. In 2016 Bruce’s works were showcased in an exhibition titled ‘Flora’ at Saint Cloche Gallery in Paddington, Sydney and his new works will be featured at Hamilton Regional Gallery in September 2018.
